No money may be asked for or paid for anything on this platform, ever. If someone asks you for money, do not go, and report them.

Handovers happen directly between the two of you. The foundation does not collect, store, transport or inspect anything, and is not present.

Meet sensibly. Go in daylight if you can, tell someone where you are going, and take somebody with you if you would rather not go alone.

Describe items as they actually are, including anything broken or worn. Ask only for what you genuinely need.

If you are approved for an item, either collect it within the agreed time or cancel so it can go to someone else. Repeatedly failing to turn up is recorded and shown to people deciding whether to approve you.

The photos and description you post are shown to everyone who visits, with the area and city of the item, so that people can find it. You can take a listing down at any time.

Post only photos you took yourself, and do not include other people without their permission.

Selling on what you receive here. Listing anything illegal, unsafe, spoiled, or that you do not own. Creating more than one account. Using this platform to collect people’s addresses or phone numbers for any other purpose. Harassing anyone.

The foundation may take down a listing or suspend an account that breaks these terms. You will be told the reason.

We connect people; we do not vouch for items or for the people offering them. Check anything before you take it, particularly anything electrical.

The foundation is not responsible for the condition of an item, for a handover that does not happen, or for anything that occurs when you meet.

We may update these terms as the platform changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the platform after that, you accept the new version.
